Eastern Market PotteryAs many devoted Eastern Market fans will remember, Eastern Market Pottery has been looking for a new location ever since fire and smoke damaged the classroom and workshop above the north hall. Just a week after the opening of the temporary East Hall, an announcement has been made by Eastern Market Pottery that it will hold its first classes beginning on Monday, Sept. 10th. They have found a new home at 320 3rd Street NE - please note the entrance is at the rear.Eastern Market Pottery’s Chuck Brome reports that they expect to have over 20 former students return to their classes for the first time since April.  They are advertising and looking for new students as well. He adds, “We are still putting equipment in place and stocking clay and glaze materials.  Storage has been at several locations and bringing it all together to make an efficient workshop/class studio is ongoing.”How do you contact them at their new digs to find out more? Brome says its best to contact them at 202-544-6669. It’s currently being routed to his cell phone, but it will soon become their landline.
